Terms
Effective 16 September 2026. These are the terms for using Spryloom during Release 1, which is free and by invitation. They are short because the product is small. If you have an account, you have agreed to them.
What Spryloom is
Spryloom runs apps that people build with coding agents, for their teams, behind sign-in. It is for small software used by people you can name: internal tools, admin pages, dashboards, the thing built on a Friday that turned out to matter. It is not a place to run a public product, and there is no public mode.
Release 1 is a preview
It is free, it is by invitation, and it is provided as it is. There is no uptime promise and no support agreement. We will tell you before we change something that affects your apps, and we will tell you well before the preview ends or before anything starts to cost money. Nothing is charged without your agreement first.
Your app is yours
You keep every right to the code you publish and to the data your app stores. We take no licence to it beyond what is needed to build, run, and back up your app for you. We do not read inside your app's database. We look at your app's logs and the audit log when we need to operate the service or when you ask for help.
What you agree to
- You may publish it. You have the right to publish the code you publish, and to invite the people you invite.
- It is for people you can name. Apps are for your team, your clients, or people you invite. They are not for the public.
- Nothing unlawful. No content or use that is illegal where you are or where we are.
- No attacking the platform. No attempts to reach another workspace's apps, data, or secrets, to escape an app's sandbox, or to interfere with the service. If you find a way, tell security@spryloom.com and we will thank you rather than pursue you.
- No mining, no spam, no using an app as a way out. No cryptocurrency mining, no bulk or unsolicited messaging, and nothing that uses an app here as a route to somewhere else.
The platform blocks most of that rather than relying on this list: an app cannot reach the web or a mail server, so there is nowhere to send to. It is written down anyway, because the block is by port rather than by address and one port stays open for an app to reach its own database. Rather than tell you that makes it impossible, we prohibit it and keep the door shut on the rest.
What we may do
- Stop an app immediately if we believe it is being used to attack something or someone, or is putting other users at risk. This is the kill switch, and it is used before the incident is understood, because that is the point of it. We tell the owner what happened afterwards, and it is on the record before it is tried.
- Suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why, unless telling you first would make the harm worse.
- End the preview, with notice and with time to take your data out.
Your data when something ends
If you archive an app, its data is kept so it can be restored. If you delete an app, or your account is closed, or the preview ends, you have thirty days to ask for a copy of your app and its data before it is removed. The privacy page says exactly what is kept and where.
Security
The security model is described on the homepage. We keep it true by testing it, and we fix what is found. If you find something, write to security@spryloom.com. Reports made in good faith are welcome and are not treated as attacks.
Liability
Spryloom is free during Release 1 and is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it, from an app you or somebody else published, or from the preview ending. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, everyone with an account is told by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top is the date they last changed.
